if u don’t think music is important u need to remember that 13 dwarves convinced bilbo baggins to rob a dragon just by singing about it

“If someone were to die at the age of 63 after a lifelong battle with MS or Sickle Cell, we’d all say they were a “fighter” or an “inspiration.” But when someone dies after a lifelong battle with severe mental illness and drug addiction, we say it was a tragedy and tell everyone “don’t be like him, please seek help.” That’s bullshit. Robin Williams sought help his entire life. He saw a psychiatrist. He quit drinking. He went to rehab. He did this for decades. That’s HOW he made it to 63. For some people, 63 is a fucking miracle. I know several people who didn’t make it past 23 and I’d do anything to have 40 more years with them.”

One of the more helpful and insightful things I’ve seen about depression/suicide in the last couple of days.

The Stilinski Timeline

"I saw an MRI that looked exactly like my wife’s…and it terrifies me…"

Inspired from the quote above (and the many events in 3b), decided it was high time to create some sort of family history of the Stilinski’s. Try to catch some of the symbolism I put in :)

i just wanna shake the hand of whoever came up with the ALS ice bucket challenge. not only is it raising awareness of an important cause, i’ve also seen more damp celebrities in clinging t-shirts in the past week than i ever dreamed possible.

Finished it on my flight back from London and immediately started with the second one. I love the series and the writing is amazing and if you like reading you should bother with reading the books first

Instead of starting with my term paper i watched the whole series of political animals in one night… no regrets
